Marc-André Charbonneau

Multi-instrumentalist and television mixer

Taking an interest in the piano and the guitar at a very young age, Marc-André Charbonneau chose to focus on the latter for his studies, earning a B.Mus. in Music at the Université de Montréal. He then continued his training with hands-on learning experience, an adventure which led him to spend close to a decade in NYC at the turn of the 2000s, sharing the stage and studio time with great performers/composers such as Dave Binney, Kenny Wollesen, Adam Rogers, and Wayne Krantz.

Ever since he returned to Montreal, Marc-André has been meeting music composers for moving images in studios and offering guitar, piano, and musical sound textures. Alongside his career as a musician, he has established himself as a trusted sound mixer for documentary series and features, boasting numerous titles to his credit.
